We generally have a chat about what your experience level is like and then spend our time traveling in the backcountry. We can train specifics, get you out leading the skin track, travel through tons of avalanche terrain, practice trip planning and avalanche forecasting.
Options are limitless and learning never stops!

Hi, I’m Kevin, one of the coaches at M-T-N!
Nobody understands the Rockies snowpack better than Kev! He's skied as many big Rockies lines as anyone, worked for years on the Sunshine Avalanche Control crew, and has guided primarily in the Rockies for years.
“Years ago, Hjertaas became well known in the Banff region through International Freeskiing Association competitions, then for his coaching prowess as the Rocky Mountain Freeriders head coach. Now with M-T-N, Hjertaas spends nearly every day out in the Canadian Rockies showing skiers dreamlike backcountry terrain. Needless to say, he holds fantastic insight as to why Banff is one of skiing’s greatest destinations.” Freeskier Magazine, 2018
